The scanning process is completely painless, without causing any nausea, gagging or discomfort. The resulting file can be sent to any laboratory worldwide with the press of a button. The data from the scan is stored on a cloud-based platform, allowing more efficient monitoring of the treatment process in real time. Intraoral scanning also involves fewer variables, as it doesn’t require setting of impression material or gypsum cast, making it more accurate and significantly reducing environmental impact.

Custom appliances with mini screws

In some of the more complex orthodontic cases, braces or aligners alone are not sufficient, and the use of mini screws or specialized appliances with mini screws becomes necessary. To create these appliances, Sky Dental Clinic collaborates with a master dental technician from Italy, who designs custom solutions tailored to the specific problems of each patient. Such appliances are used in the following cases:
